This Purple beech has beautiful red leaves. It shows deep red colors and in the autumn it fades to intense brown red.
The Atropunicea is the red variety of the ordinary Fagus sylvatica and is characterized by a soft smooth gray bark.
Particularly beautiful in the spring by the fresh leaves with an intense red color.
